Unique Oceanic blacktip shark portrait.  Long exposure and shooting after sunset achieved an impressionistic sky look,  a disappearing surface line, and an emotional shark. Photo not cropped, to show all details of the shark and of the sky. Photographing big wild animals with a long shutter speed is very challenging. 

In this case, the shark was still outside of the frame when I pressed the shutter button. I didn’t know for sure if it would come into position. In fact, it took hundreds of tries and many days before a shark finally aligned with the background I envisioned.
